Meanwhile, Grand Patron of the All Progressives Congress (North-Central), Hajiya Mariam Salihu, has said the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is running for presidency to make Nigeria better.
She made the comment during an empowerment forum organised by a support group, National Agenda for Greater Asiwaju.
Salihu said the former governor of Lagos state does not want to be the president of Nigeria to enrich himself because is a selfless person who has empowered numerous people.
The APC chieftain also said that Nigeria under the administration of Tinubu will be peaceful.
She said; “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a strategist, he’s selfless. He’s in the presidency to reposition Nigeria as a better country for all and the future.
Nigeria will be peaceful under Asiwaju; he has the money, and influence. Hes not contesting the presidency for himself but for all. If you look at everybody around him, he did not only empower only those around him, his empowerment cut across the country. That is the kind of leader we want.
Asiwaju is somebody that is proactive, he is somebody that is selfless, he is somebody that is not after himself. If Asiwaju is someone who is after himself, I don’t think he would want to be the president of this country.”
