DJ Cuppy reveals why she’s not throwing lavish birthday party this year despite being a billionaire’s daughter

Famous disc jockey and music producer, Florence Otedola alias DJ Cuppy, has said she won’t throw an extravagant birthday bash in 2022.

The billionaire heiress turned 30 on November 11, and she made several wishes which include asking rapper, Nicki Minaj for a birthday shoutout.

Cuppy, whose father is a billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, said her decision to have a lowkey birthday is in fulfilment of a resolution she made earlier this year.

According to the Gelato crooner, she would rather celebrate her 30th birthday with prayer and by being with her pet dogs, Dudu and FunFun, whom she refers to as her kids.

She gave herself accolades for all she has accomplished in career and life as she wished herself a happy birthday.

Cuppy wrote; ”Yes, Lord, you did it again you gave me another year. Happy 30th Birthday to me! #CuppyDay

Earlier on this year, I decided that I wouldn’t do some silly lavish cuppy party but instead enter my new age in prayer and surrounded by Dúdú and FünFün at home

For once, I’m going to CLAP for myself and say- I am SO PROUD of ALL I’ve accomplished, and SO EXCITED for the JOY my 30’s will bring. Happy birthday, incredible Cuppy, ME! #CuppyDay”.

Meanwhile, CorrectNG reported earlier that the celebrity DJ revealed how she treats a man who bought her a birthday gift because he is interested.

Amid the numerous posts she dropped on Friday, Cuppy revealed that a man gifted her a Rolex wristwatch for her 30th birthday.

The disc jockey said that despite his gift, she still does not have time for the guy whose name she did not mention.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote; ”So this guy bought me a Rolex for my birthday …and I STILL don’t have time for him #CuppyDay”.
