Student misses exam after arriving hall 7 hours late, says he was reading
A Nigerian student missed his exam paper after he arrived late at the venue because he mixed up the time.
The young man known on Twitter as @4evertoxiclagosng recounted how he ended up going for an exam 7 hours late.
According to him, the exam was fixed for 8am but he thought he would be writing it around 3pm so he stayed at to home to read intensely.
Sadly, none of his classmates called him in the morning when they did not see him in the exam hall, it was when he went in the afternoon that he learnt they’ve already sat down for the exam.
He shared; “Thought my paper was for 3 pm, didn’t know it was for 8 am and I was at home reading serious for past questions”.

In reaction, Gentle Lion wrote; I can relate. They changed exam time and not everyone was aware see people turning up with house clothes and girls without makeups. Nigerian universities self.
Moore Amor; I had a carry over for this reason. Exam was rescheduled from afternoon to morning so I took my time. Didn’t have permanent seat mates so no one called. Met my coursemate outside school fanning herself with question paper.
Zinota reacted: There was a time I always went to events late and I had to put an end to it cos it isn’t really cool thing to do.
In other news, it was earlier reported that two students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, caused fear and panic in their school with the way they chose to appear for a class presentation.
They stormed the school dressed up as bandits in camouflage with their faces covered in order to embody the topic.
It was learnt that the course lecturer gave a group the topic of terrorism to present on, so they decided to dress the part.
According to eyewitnesses, when the two young men arrived in the lecturer hall, everyone thought bandits had invaded the school.
The lecturer and students took to their heels at the same time, and as such a large crowd tried to pass through the narrow doors causing a stampede.
It was gathered that the lecturer disappeared and abandoned his students upon sighting the ‘terrorists’ unaware that they are his students.
According to an undergraduate who shared the viral video, many of the students sustained injuries and someone fainted.
The source said; ”So this is what happened yeah. We have political science presentation And a group was to present on terrorism they decided to do their presentation a different way
