Official: Barcelona squad list against Celta Vigo

No time to grieve for Barcelona as they turn their heads to face Celta Vigo in La Liga, days after their controversial 1-0 loss against Inter Milan in the Champions League.

The good news is that Barça are back at Spotify Camp Nou, who have been extra supportive this season. The bad news, however, is that more players are injured, and missing from the squad list.

Jules Kounde and Ronald Araujo were already ruled out for the next few weeks after picking up muscle injuries on the first day of the international break. To add fuel to the fire, Andreas Christensen suffered from a ligament sprain vs Inter and is ruled out for possibly, the rest of October.

Franck Kessie, too, suffered from a hamstring sprain following the UCL clash and is not a part of the squad list. The evolution of his injury will determine his involvement vs Inter on Wednesday.

Frenkie de Jong missed the last two outings but has been given the medical green light in time for the Celta clash. His compatriot, Memphis Depay, however, is still ruled out.

Pablo Torre has been called up and could get some important minutes during this game, especially since Xavi will likely not risk de Jong too much.

There is also a call-up for Barcelona Atletic defender Chadi Riad, while Marc Casado also makes the cut again as Xavi looks to add some depth to the midfield and defence amidst the injury problems.
