Official: FC Barcelona starting lineup against Real Madrid

With El Clasico less than two hours away, tensions are building inside the Santiago Bernabeu. Both teams have been largely unplayable so far this season, and there is a ton at stake here, especially for Barcelona.

Meanwhile, the starting lineup for the game has been announced by Barça, featuring none other than Marc-Andre ter Stegen in goal. The German goalkeeper kept a clean sheet vs Real Madrid at the Bernabeu the last time around, and will be hoping to mirror that tonight as well.

He will have the aid of a back-four at his disposal, headlined by Jules Kounde. The Frenchman starts as one of the centre-backs, while Eric Garcia takes over responsibility alongside him.

Alejandro Balde returns to the left-back spot after being benched by Marcos Alonso for the Inter clash, and is joined by Sergi Roberto, who starts on the other side of the back-four.

Frenkie de Jong finally gets a break in the team, starting as as the no. 8 in place of Gavi. Meanwhile, Pedri and Sergio Busquets continue to start as the other two midfielders in the centre of the park.

No changes in attack as Robert Lewandowski spearheads the trident after a late brace in the Champions League. Raphinha has been given the nod to continue on the right-wing, while Ousmane Dembele starts on the left side.

Confirmed Barcelona XI: ter Stegen; Roberto, Kounde, Garcia, Balde; Pedri, Busquets, de Jong; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Dembele
