Meanwhile, he earlier broke the internet when he announced that he will embark on a tour with his counterpart, Davido.

The Grammy winner took to his social media page to make the announcement as he promised to make it happen after More Love, Less Ego album tour.

Wizkid asked fans to save some money to buy the tickets because he does not want to hear stories about why they could not show up.

He shared a photo of himself and wrote; “After MLLE tour! Davido and I going on tour! Save your coins!! I no wan hear pim!!”

Though he did not disclose a date, the news made fans very excited, and they could not contain their eagerness to see the heavyweights perform together after years.

However, it may not happen until the end of the year or in 2024 because Davido had postoned his A.W.A.Y Festival and announced in November 2022 that he will not have any show until November 2023.

The announcement from his management came after the untimely death of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr and he postponed.

The statement read; “We have made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone A.W.A.Y Festival until Saturday, November 18, 2023. To all ticket buyers, your tickets will be honored for the 2023 date. We understand that you must be disappointed but we promise to come back with a bigger and better show. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing you all in the near future.”
